58 degrees here is considered a heat wave. So yes I rode my street bike in February with snow on the ground. I’m ready for the normal warm months

Nice bike! I got out today too, put about 60 miles on. Great riding weather, especially for February in Michigan!

This started out as a 1977 Honda CB750. Showroom photo for how the bike would have looked new.I converted it into a Cafe Racer, which is basically the original crotch rocket of the 60s and 70s. put lower handle bars on, low stiff seat, ditch necessaryweight

Nice, I only did about 10, but I was able to fix a leaking cover that had a damaged gasket as well as figure out why my bike had a high idle problem (leaking rubber boot between the carb and the motor drawing in extra air.

I got A LOT done, did a little tinkering on this bike, then put the new piston in my other bike, just waiting for the head to be shipped back

Wednesday/Thursday we had one of the worst blizzards I’ve ever seen. Ran the snowblower 3 times in 24 hours. Now we can ride our motorcycles, crazy man

Clarkston, plenty of county roads with few cars that make it enjoyable for bikes

I worked on my beater truck (update coming tomorrow) and organized a bunch of my tools. It’s gonna get cold again, but it looks like we’re getting another heatwave about a week from now.

That looks great! I’m hoping to get a bike soon, I would really love to start riding and I love the old school cafe racer bikes.

If you want to do it on the cheap, you can. Main things to switch are the handlebars and the seat, which for me was $50 for the bars and $700 for the seat. The seat was done by a custom bike shop so it’s going to be a lot more, but there are a lot cheaper ones out there. I went overboard and start changing the gauges, lights, and racked up some costs.
